DO YOU WANT TO PLAY A GAME?
One day, a call went out. A call for a screensaver that would sit there and play tic-tac-toe against itself forever. Never winning, but always playing in a sisyphean challenge of epic proportions. The person was just thinking of a static animation that would play over, and over again, but I figured I could do better than that. I stayed up all night, creating an screensaver that not only actually plays itself, but is good enough to never actually win!

There actually is a routine in there that checks every move for a win. If that ever happens, the game will stop, but I've left this running for hours, and that hasn't happened yet, so I'm pretty confident that it won't. If anyone's interested, the guts of this thing could probably be repurposed into an actual tic-tac-toe game, so I've included the source files, along with everything else.

STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
I have these ideas for another screensaver that looks like the scene where the computer's actually going through all these nuclear scenarios, and deciding that each one of them is a complete loss. I've got a lot of the problems solved, and I've got most of the vector maps that I'll need. I'd like a few maps of europe, africa, asia, south america, etc, so if anyone has vector maps they'd like to pass along, feel free to email me. The reward will be a sense of satisfaction, and a copy of the screensaver when I'm finally done with it.
